Suburban Chicagoland: The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRD) celebrated Women’s History Month with a special event on March 27 recognizing women making strides in public safety, cybersecurity, and health innovation.

MWRD Vice President Flynn with the Duggan Sisters at Women's History Month Celebration

MWRD Vice President Patricia Theresa Flynn led the program, “Women Protecting Women: Strategies for Personal and Internet Security,” and spotlighted the Duggan Sisters—Mary, Annie, and Clare for their pioneering work in natural wellness.

The Duggan Sisters, founders of the Lifestinks and Lifestings product lines, shared their inspiring journey from personal health challenges to launching a successful line of safe, effective alternatives to traditional products.

“How great to recognize women in our own agency doing great things, and women beyond our doors, like the Duggan Sisters, becoming entrepreneurs and leaders in a real niche space,” said Vice President Theresa Flynn.

The event brought together leaders and community members to celebrate the vital role women play in keeping others safe and healthy—online, in person, and through innovation.
